Nature both inspires and guides our work
At Wildflower we embrace the principle of working with nature and endeavour to ensure our flowers are sourced as locally as possible. We gather our flowers from Australian growers where possible and support flower farms close to our region in an effort to reduce flower miles from an overseas product.
Practical ways to reduce our impact
We are concerned about the use of floral foam, which in past years has been widely used in the floral industry and is made from non-biodegradable micro plastics; and instead offer a natural, fresh approach to maintaining the freshness and viability of our flowers to you.
To wrap our bouquets, we use our signature hessian sheet wrap, kept hydrated in a Bio-wrap bag. Bio wrap bags are plant-based and all elements – including the rubber band – are fully compostable.
